SMALL GROUPS (FOR SINGLES AND COUPLES)

Providence Presbyterian Church, along with most member churches of the Presbyterian Church in America, provides small group Christian study opportunities for the congregation on a weekly basis.

Studies may take the form of pure Bible study using the biblical text or may concentrate on a leader directed video series or be based on a specific book or expanded programmed study.

We are committed to the principle that the sure knowledge of God’s Holy Word is an important foundation stone upon which Christian men and women may build a strong and meaningful relationship with God.

WOMEN'S WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY

Women in the Church (WIC) meet weekly for bible study. The meeting day and subject studies vary. Call the church office for more information.

MEN’S WEEKLY BREAKFAST MEETING (MEN OF THE CHURCH)

The men of the congregation also meet weekly at one of the local restaurants in Murphy or at the Church on Thursday morning at 7:00 AM to eat, share the faith and fellowship with each other.

QUILTERS AND CRAFTERS GUILD

The Quilters and Crafters Guild begins on Tuesday, May 6, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm and will continue to meet every other Tuesday. The group is open to anyone interested in quilting or other hobbies such as scrap booking, sewing, etc. There is no cost, and individuals must bring their own supplies. While this gathering isn't an official "class" on how to quilt, scrapbook, etc., participants will be able to sharpen their creative skills by learning from one another.
