Parenting solo has unique challenges, so Providence Presbyterian Church is offering a monthly get together for single mothers that features dinner, fellowship, crafts and more.

Groups are held monthly every second Wednesday. Dinner begins at 5:30, and is followed by a Bible study, breakout groups and then a fellowship time featuring crafts, cooking demonstrations and other such activities. There is no fee, and childcare is provided.

The Single Moms' Ministry is held at Providence Presbyterian Church, located at 2252 Harshaw Road in Murphy. From the US 64 traffic light at the McDonalds in Murphy, travel approximately two miles toward the Cherokee Hills Golf Club. Providence Presbyterian Church is on the right and is located on top of a small hill. If transportation is needed, call 828-557-9689.
